Now, this may seem very weird, but I'll offer it up as a possibility: That people with sleep apnea (ameliorated by a CPAP, sleeping "aids," or otherwise) may be more prone to psychotic personalities...the "thing" that drives us, and yet at the same time the "thing" that makes us crazy.
Does that mean that people with sleep apnea who use hoses are in reality psycho-hose-beasts, Craig? (snicker/snort) No wonder Kate pulled your hose out!!!

i got a call from aztec and badger had gall blader surgery yesterday.
when she took him in for emergency surgery someone broke in and burglarized their apartment.
talk about a bad weekend.

my husband and i visited with an old friend who is about to be disfellowshipped and guess what he told us:.

Too bad they weren't doing this last year when my hubby went all out with a blow up Santa on our roof and a sleigh and presents on our lawn!!!
Someone also spread a rumor that we have a crucifix displayed - which we don't but it's funny to hear that we're so important that they actually spy on us.
The best part is that we're not even a part of the congregation in the area where we live. We moved here about 4 years after we did our fade from a congregation 45 minutes away!

I ran into my niece about 5 yrs after and she told me about some of the rumors that were passed around about me. It seems that people in the KH's in that area were led to believe that I had changed my name (???) and started a new religion!!! I did NEITHER, so I thought it was amusing to hear this. The length they will go to in order to make sure none of their other victims followers speak to anyone dF'd!!! LOL!

many of us who were once jehovah's witnesses had a measure of happiness in our lives.
for me, i had a hope in the future, i had answers as to why we are all here, i believed in a loving god who looked after me and cared about me, i had answers to all of lifes big questions.. when i found out the truth about the witnesses, i was lost in a great big world and now had no answers other than the fact that what i once believed was "the truth" in actuality wasn't the truth.i now had to start all over in my search for truth.
for me, it wasn't long before i found what i thought was the truth since i always believed in the bible.
Gumby, to answer your subject question, "Does Knowing the Truth Make you a Happier person?" yes, it does.
After I got over all the emotional aftermath of realizing my faith and beliefs had been totally bunko, I realized that facing reality is much better and I'm not being coerced into being something I'm not anymore, nor living up to someone else's lofty, ever-changing and really silly standards.
It get's easier over time to look forward to the future I have the capability to make for myself and/or my family. And I don't have to look down on everyone and everything outside the WTS as "condemned" anymore. That's a big relief.

would also suggest a review of ALL of her meds. It's very possible that she is having adverse reactions or bad drug interactions.

so we're remodeling a bedroom in our house, and that includes me adding (at considerable expenditure of personal energy, i might add!
) a new shelving layout in the closet.. now, i ask kate what she thinks is best, and add a full shelf here, and a bank of multiple shelves there...and then, all of a sudden she starts going on and on about how much extra space she's going to have for all her "stuff" (guys, you know what i mean!

Craig, please tell me yall have more than one closet! A closet is a wonderful place to hide store things. I'm sure you probably know how much women like to "put things away."
One time, my Mom wanted to buy a ripoff designer purse. It had "Bullspit" (sp) printed all over it and suited my Mom's personality to a "Tee." My step-dad, however, felt otherwise, because of the cost, of course. So Mom put it on layaway.....and got it anyway. One day all the kids and g/kids were visiting and Mom went to the "other closet" to dig out her newly-purchased treasure to show us kids. It was on the other end of the house from where my step-dad was watching TV. Now, mind you....he was hard of hearing, but refused to get a hearing-aid. Lo, and behold! The ol' stroonza HEARD us from the other end of the house and sneaked up on us and caught her with the "goods," .....red-handed!
